Terms of Service
The rules that govern your Polyms Account and how you use it across the Polyms ecosystem.
Last updated: June 5, 2026
On this page
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Polyms ("Polyms", "we", "us", or "our") for your use of your Polyms Account — the account that signs you in across the Polyms ecosystem. By creating a Polyms Account or signing in with it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Overview
Your Polyms Account lets you use a single account to sign in to connected apps in our ecosystem. These Terms apply to the account and identity service itself — the sign-in experience, your account credentials, sessions, and the identity data we share with apps you authorize.
Individual Polyms apps may have their own terms, privacy policies, and subscription agreements. When you use a connected app, you are also subject to that app's terms where applicable.
Eligibility
You must be old enough under the laws of your country or region to enter a binding contract, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian, to create and use a Polyms account. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
You may not use your Polyms Account if you are barred from receiving the service under applicable law or if we have previously suspended or terminated your account for violation of these Terms.
Your account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password, passkeys, and other sign-in credentials confidential.
- All activity that occurs under your account, including sign-ins initiated through your credentials or active sessions.
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Maintaining accurate profile and contact information so we can reach you about security and service matters.
We may require additional verification — such as email confirmation, passkey enrollment, or multi-factor authentication — to protect your account or comply with law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse your Polyms Account or the service. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
- Creating accounts with false or misleading information, or impersonating another person or entity.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data — including credential stuffing, phishing, or bypassing authentication controls.
- Interfering with or disrupting the service, its infrastructure, or other users' access.
- Using the service to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or abusing OAuth/OIDC endpoints beyond documented integration use.
- Reselling, sublicensing, or offering the Polyms Account service as a standalone service to third parties without our written permission.
Connected apps & sign-in
When you sign in to a connected app with your Polyms Account, you authorize us to share identity information with that app as described in our Privacy Policy and, where required, after your consent. You can revoke an app's access through your account settings where available.
First-party Polyms apps within our ecosystem may receive identity and entitlement claims automatically under our integration model. Third-party and partner apps must register redirect URIs and requested scopes; we may deny or revoke clients that violate our policies.
We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of connected apps operated by third parties. Your relationship with those apps is between you and the app provider.
Subscriptions & billing
Some Polyms apps offer paid plans managed through our billing infrastructure. Subscription terms — including pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds — are governed by the checkout flow and any plan-specific terms presented at purchase. Entitlement claims embedded in tokens or userinfo reflect your active subscription status for gating features in connected apps.
Your Polyms Account itself is provided as part of the ecosystem identity layer; separate fees may apply only when you purchase subscriptions or services through connected apps.
Intellectual property
The Polyms Account service, including its software, branding, documentation, and OAuth/OIDC endpoints, is owned by Polyms or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or service marks except as needed to sign in through the normal user flow.
Disclaimers
The Polyms Account service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Polyms and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use your Polyms Account.
Our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the event, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100), except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
Suspension & termination
You may stop using your Polyms Account at any time and may delete it through available self-service options or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute provisions — will continue to apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of your Polyms Account after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
